The Backwards Farmhouse is a recently renovated 1971 Farmhouse located on just over 2 acres in Kennesaw, GA. A hidden gem of tranquility in the midst of a bustling suburban area, the venue features a large pond with a picturesque ceremony site and tranquil poolside patio for hosting guests.
The perfect space for an intimate wedding, birthday party, anniversary celebration, graduation celebration, bridal or baby shower, vow renewal or whatever celebration you seek.

All events are booked through our Swimply page. Swimply is an event rental site similar to Peerspace that focuses primarily on outdoor venues.

Our booking rates are hourly and are determined by your guest count (we accommodate parties up to 45 people).

Base booking rates include access to entire pool area, tables and chairs, service bars, parking, and one indoor bathroom.

Amenities such as yard games, pool toys, outdoor speakers, firepit, heaters, etc are an additional charge and can be found on our Swimply listing as well.

For more thorough use of the venue including additional bathrooms, changing room, kitchen for catering, dining rooom and living room, be sure to add on our Full Access amenity.

For use of the pond area for a ceremony or event site, be sure to add on the Pond Access amenity.

For commercial filming or photo shoots (this does not include wedding and event photography) be sure to add our Site License Fee amenity.

Any "set up" or "decorating" time must be included in the hours of your site rental.
